Sponsors

The Brentwood Oakley Youth Football League would like to thank the following sponsors for their generous contributions during the 2011 season.

Freedom High School Youth Cheer Clinic

Freedom High School is holding their basketball cheer clinic in February. Participants will receive 2 days of instruction on Wednesday, February 8th and Thursday, February 9th, from 4:00PM to 6:30PM. Participants will perform during half-time of the game between Freedom and Heritage on Friday night. Game time is 7:00PM on February 10th, and will be played at Freedom High School.

Participants must register by Thursday, February 2nd. Please download the attached flyer and mail it, along with the $50 registration fee, according to the instructions provided. This is a fundraiser for Freedom High School cheer, and will benefit the team as they attempt to extend their back-to-back championship title in Anaheim at the end of March.

Time Changes For Week 8

Note - the following game times have been confirmed by Peninsula!

Our Mitey Mite opponent for this week has informed us that they will not be fielding a team this weekend. We have notified Peninsula, but at this time we are 99% certain that we will not have an alternate opponent. As a result, the times for this Saturday have changed. The new game schedule should read

Tiny Mite Silver vs Mountain View Marauders @ 9:00AM (No change)
Tiny Mite Blue vs San Jose Saints @ 10:30AM (No change)
Jr Pee Wee vs San Jose Saints @ Noon (NEW TIME!)
Pee Wee vs San Jose Saints @ 2:00PM (NEW TIME!)
Jr Midget vs San Jose Saints @ 4:00PM (NEW TIME!)

Coaches have been notified of this likely change. We will post a confirmation once we receive feedback from Peninsula. Please ensure your Falcon reports at the earlier time, and if you are volunteering please adjust your reporting time as necessary.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

Freedom Field Use

As we start practice this season we would like to remind all families about the Freedom High School rules. We have attached a copy of the rules that the school district has provided to us, but a quick summary of the key concerns are noted below:

No alcoholic beverages are to be on campus at any time.
The track area surrounding the long jump, high jump, and pole vault pits are off limits.
Sunflower seeds and peanut shells are not allowed in the stadium.
No animals are allowed on the campus unless they are verified vision assistance dogs.

Failure to follow these guidelines can cause our organization to lose stadium privileges. Please help us to be good tenants and keep the campus clean. Thank you!
